Our Accelerator model goes beyond planning and starting a business, it coaches you on how to build and manage your business and the skills you need to deploy to move it forward. It enhances your ability to make good decisions. It’s an evolutionary process, but the starting point is our On-line coaching tool Business Basics™, learning about our 5 pillars to running a successful company and developing the framework for your business around these key areas.

Business Basics™
An on-line coaching tool that provides you with a framework to build off. Its biggest benefit is it simplifies a complex and sometimes hostile environment, helping you stay focused on what is important. It grows with you and it will then help you manage your business through the different phases, as you start, grow, and scale.
Business Basics On-Line Coaching Programme costs £250.
It is a coaching tool that you will be able to use for the rest of your business life.
Business Basics™ + Coaching Introduction
This walks you through Business Basics™ with a coach helping you to understand how to get the most out of the programme and push your business thinking. You will talk through your business idea and get the benefit of their considerable experience. Remember as a new venture and entrepreneur, you don’t know what you don’t know, and our team can provide valuable insights to help you on your way.
Business Basics + Coaching costs £350
Giving you time with the coach as you start to work on your business.
Business Basics™ + Coaching Introduction + On-going Coaching Schedule
On top of the costs of your Business Basics™ option, we will support you with on-to-one coaching each month either with one or two sessions depending on what you need and can afford. The benefit of this approach is you are leveraging the experience of your coach, providing a buffer for your own lack of experience and knowledge. The coach will help you to assess and develop the business strategy and its implementation and provide you with a wider perspective on the business than you will achieve on your own. They will sense check and challenge your thinking, push you harder to justify your assumptions, and open your eyes to opportunities and solutions that you have not thought of.
This is not an academic process but real dialogue on where you are on your business journey and getting their insights to help you continue to move forward.
On-going Coaching £150-£300 a month depending on whether it is one or two meetings that are scheduled, and the cost can be split between the meetings if this helps.
Business Surgeries
Within the Startup4ten® accelerator we also run business surgeries where you can fix up a meeting on a one-off basis.
You may have found you are stuck and not making progress, or something has just happened that you need some help on.
These sessions are 40minutes each and cost £100 but it will give you temporary access to an experienced coach who can listen to the problem and provide some guidance and ideas for you to consider. Part of the art of becoming a successful entrepreneur and business is to solve the problems that are holding you back. If you solve enough of them you move forward but sometimes a bit of experience can help you see a different or better path.
Group Workshops
Every month we will run a 40-60-minute workshop on a topic we think is relevant to the on-line accelerator.
We may involve experts from different fields but sometimes it may be just about hearing your different challenges and giving some honest feedback on what you might be able to do to get past the problem. We will run these workshops in groups because you can learn from what others are going through too in the Q&A parts but it also provides the on-line accelerator community with the opportunity to get to know other entrepreneurs and connect.
These are free to our coaching clients but if you are on the accelerator using Business Basics™ you can join each workshop at a cost of £15.

Being an entrepreneur is both exciting and challenging and investing in yourself at the very beginning of the process will greatly increase your percentage of success.
The Office of National Statistics currently has the 5-year start-up mortality rates in the UK sitting at 56%, which means that only 44% of businesses who start this year will still be in business in 5 years’ time.
This sobering statistic emphasises the challenge and risks involved and the need for young businesses to prepare quickly if they are to beat the odds.

You will want and need help along the way, and this is where the coaching team can help, but you are in control of your journey and you can dip in and out of the support as and when you need it.
